ETN Focus: Please introduce yourself and tell us about EUROACE?

EUROACE: I am Isabel Torrecillas, Co-Founder and CEO of Euroace. I have worked for more than 18 years in international education, and with Euroace project and school we are working now more than 13 years. Euroace school works with Spanish language training, and we also work very hard to get a total immersion to our students, through our activities and customised programs.

ETN Focus: What makes EUROACE the right choice for international students who are looking for a language learning experience in Spain?

EUROACE: Spanish lessons with native teachers, practical and conversational lessons, and small groups, make our learning experience very effective and enjoyable. Our school is small and familiar, making easier the direct communication with the directors and teachers, who always help the students to get the perfect fit to their language necessities.

ETN Focus: What is the importance of diversity in your school?

EUROACE: It is very important for us, because it makes the experience richer for all of us, our staff and the students.

ETN Focus: Tell us a bit more about your international student recruitment strategy. How do you identify your target markets, and what kind of international students are you currently looking to attract?

EUROACE: We recruit students in the countries where the Spanish learning is important. We attract students from all around the world, except from Spanish speaking countries, of course.

ETN Focus: What channels and tools do you use to promote your school internationally? Do you think having an agents network is important? How do you support the agents you work with?

EUROACE: Promotion online, education fairs and agents network, are the most important tools for us. Good prices and service for our agents, and commissions, are the best way to support our agents.

ETN Focus: What is your biggest challenge when working with international students? How do you approach cross-cultural differences during recruitment, in the classroom, and after students leave your school?

EUROACE: We always work with different nationalities, and we try to know in advance their culture, main interests, etc. to be able to offer best options. We work with the culture shock of the students, to help them to integrate as better as possible in our culture.

ETN Focus: Are there any new markets where you see untapped potential for selling your programmes?

EUROACE: Yes, we are trying to open more markets like Brasil, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.

ETN Focus: Finally, what is your vision for the future? How do you see EUROACE evolving in the years to come?

EUROACE: I think we will increase step by step a bit more our number, and we will have more nationalities coming to our school and programs.
