About Jon Santangelo

Jon-SantangeloJon Santangelo is a liaison between China’s international education industry and the West.

Originally from the U.S., Jon has been in expatriate in China, particularly Beijing, since 2009. His career in international education began in 2011, first as a Junior Lecturer at Beijing Tech-Business University, and later at University College Dublin’s China campus.

Alongside lecturing, Jon also consulted with China-based companies in hiring foreign talent, and recruited recent international graduates to start their careers in China.

He joined BOSSA in April 2014 as the Communications Director and Spokesman. During his tenure, he launched the International Membership Association, which has now served 50 overseas institutions and service providers since its inception in early 2015.

Jon’s been featured in news by CNN, The Boston Globe, The Chronicle of Higher Education, University World News, and regularly contributes to The PIE News and Study Travel Magazine.

Jon now works as BOSSA’s International Consultant and is based in Shenzhen, China.
